The husband has lent money three times to his mother-in-law because she is facing difficulties due to her sister’s illness. The mother-in-law claims that she will be able to repay the money once her sister’s insurance claim comes through. However, the author is worried about what will happen if the mother-in-law doesn’t repay the money. The stress from this situation is increasing for the author. Although they have already lent money three times, they can no longer afford to do so and don’t want to lend any more. The author wants to use their money for their own children’s needs. The story continues in Episode 3.
