それから約1年が経った今年11月。SNSで再び青木島遊園地がクローズアップされることになる。
きっかけとなったのはX（旧Twitter）で毎年恒例となっている「クソ物件オブザイヤー」だ。ユーザーが1年を振り返り、話題になった不動産を投稿し、大賞を決めるという主旨の企画。これに青木島遊園地を“クソ物件”として推すユーザーが現れたのだ。
しかし、騒動自体は昨年の話。いったいなぜと投稿を確認すると、今年行なわれた青木島遊園地の原状回復工事作業で、「うるさいから工事をやめて」と一部住民が意見していたことがわかった。投稿に添付されていた写真（地元紙が撮影した写真）には「ウルサいから公園潰しの工事やめて！」と書かれたプラカードをかかげる反対派住民の姿も確認できる。
残しても「うるさい」。廃止しても「うるさい」──この投稿はX上で話題を呼び、〈耳栓入れて生活しろ〉などと騒動自体に呆れた様子を見せるユーザーも。
